St. John’s

Altera’s East Coast Canada operation forms part of the infrastructure that supports the Newfoundland and Labrador offshore industry. Our fleet of shuttle tankers transport crude oil from the offshore production facilities that operate on the Grand Banks of Newfoundland and Labrador. We presently employ approximately 130 Canadian seafarers, with an onshore support organization that is based in St. John’s. Altera’s operations began in this region in 2015 and we presently operate a fleet of three shuttle tankers.
